Hi everyone, I’m Dean! I teach Climb and Refresh.

Fav way to HIIT YOUR PEAK? To me, is all about community. Group classes keep me accountable and looking forward to checking in with gym buds week after week. There are so many awesome ways to stay active, from HIIT classes to running by the river, or even trying my hand at curling, but I always enjoy it with friends. ⁣

Outside of PEAK, I am an Optometrist and partner at The Eye Gallery - Doctors of Optometry, but commit countless hours volunteering with boards, committees, and organizations. My “down-time” is spent with my better half and we love to host family and friends for dinners, game nights, or general shenanigans ⁣⁣

Why do you HIIT YOUR PEAK?⁣ I HIIT my PEAK to develop + strengthen healthy behaviours that will help me have more time with the ones I love. I still enjoy my beer and wings, but it’s important to have balance. Exercise helps me burn off stress and focus on the things that my body CAN do, instead of what it can’t. I like to think that every day we make a series of decisions and I try to make ten ‘good’ decisions for every ‘bad’ decision. And no, I don’t always consider beer and wings a bad decision
