Kate Rawlyk
I’m Kate and I teach all of the modalities PEAK has to offer!
Fav way to HIIT YOUR PEAK? I've found cross training to be the most effective and engaging way for me to stay happy and healthy. I love climb, HIIT workouts, yoga, running, cros-country skiing, hiking, biking, and kayaking. Finding different ways to work my body and overcome new challenges has shown me I can do anything I set my mind to!
Although variety is key, I knew after my first climb that I had found my newest love! The focus on music and the community aspect of versa climbing combines all my favourite things, which means I'm excited to show up every single time. As a way to counterbalance the high energy and shared struggle of climb, I love yoga, HIIT Refresh and running, as a way to refocus my body both physically and mentally. It's all about that balance!
Outside of PEAK, I am a lover of all things food, including finding new and exciting ways to make healthy food taste good. When I'm not in the kitchen or doing some form of activity (or even if I am) there will usually be friends, family, and/or music involved. If I can be outside or travelling somewhere new, (or better yet hiking in a foreign land) I am in my happy place!
Why do you HIIT YOUR PEAK? I have always participated in some kind of activity throughout my life, but I have also struggled to balance and maintain my diet + exercise. Because of those ups and downs, I’ve become dedicated to crafting a routine that keeps me strong, engaged, and excited to HIIT my PEAK. Becoming a PEAK Pro has meant that I get to share my energy and passion to inspire others to HIIT their PEAK, which is an absolute dream come true. My ultimate goal is to have people enjoy their workout rather than just endure it. Believe me, it’s possible!
